Retired Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder, Matt Kemp, recently sold his custom estate in the Poway Heritage community in San Diego County for $4.3 million. The three-time all-star player purchased the property in 2013 for more than double at $9.075 million, and then proceeded to invest $3 million in renovations. The 15,844 square foot mansion originally arrived on the market in late 2016 for $11.5 million however more recently was listed for $4.999 million.
The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion built in 2003 has features that include a 1,200 bottle wine cellar, cigar lounge, theater with snack bar, foyer with custom staircase, elevator, five-car garage, formal living and dining rooms. The master suite has two walk-in closets, a spa-like bathroom, sitting room and balcony.
