The second most expensive sale in Encino just happened last month. It is also the most expensive sale to happen there this year. The sale was of a $15.2 million dollar mansion previously owned by Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. The purchase was made by DJ and producer Zedd, whose legal name is Anton Zaslavski. Zedd was able to get the home cheaper than the asking price, with it being originally listed at $16.8 million. However, Jonas and Turner still made a profit on the property which they purchased in late 2019 for $14.1m.
Zedd is also working to sell one of his properties. Back in July he listed his Beverly Hills estate for $26.5m. He bought the property in 2016 for $16 million. He quickly found a buyer but it fell through and is currently back on the market.
Although Zedd’s new home is over $10 million dollars less than his Beverly Hills estate it is actually larger with it being 15,000 sqft compared to his Beverly Hills home which was 11,000 sqft. Although the home is larger it sits on less than an acre of land. The home was built in 2019 and has nine bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms. The main suite offers walk-in closets as well as dressing rooms. Other amenities in the home include a movie theatre, second kitchen, and a gym. There is also a guest house and lap pool.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s had the most expensive purchase ever in Encino just two years ago for $20 million.
