August 31st saw a big real estate purchase in Brentwood, CA, (but aren’t they all?) when Scooter Braun purchased a $65 million home that can only be described as being “a modern palace”. You may have heard of Braun as being the former owner of the rights to some of Taylor Swift’s music. The big buy also comes only a little more than a month after Braun filed for divorce. On the receiving end of his divorce proceedings is the woman that he was married to for seven years and is sharing three kids with, Yael Cohen.

According to Realtor.com, the mega-mansion is not only brand new but also offers 6 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a full gym, an indoor lap pool, a theater, and 2 offices in 19,000-square-feet with 270-degree panoramic views of the canyon, the city, and the Pacific ocean. Built by an architect named architect Noah Walker, the interior designer was Jamie Bush, and the landscape designer was Christine London LTD. The beautifully landscaped 4-acre lot offers a pool house, a detached guesthouse, an amazing architectural pool, and lush gardens plus both an outdoor living and an outdoor dining room.

Braun‘s well-known public conflict vs Swift, revolving around the ownership of her music, resulted in Braun selling the masters of some of her hits in November 2020 for a whopping $300 million. Braun’s other big discoveries in the entertainment world include Justin Bieber and he is currently representing some big stars like the Black Eyed Peas, Hilary Duff, Ariana Grande, David Guetta, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Demi Lovato.

The home was originally listed for $70 million by H. Blair Chang at the Agency and Braun was repped by Josh and Matt Altman of Douglas Elliman and the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles tv show.
