The sale of Sylvester Stallone’s Beverly Park Mansion stands as California’s most expensive sale this year to date. However, even earning that title, the mansion was originally purchased for $110 Million and fell short of its original sale by 47% at $58 million. Elegant Properties has confirmed pop star Adele as the property’s buyer.
The property had been on the market for quite some time. With the listing first being available in January 2021, Stallone finally lowered the price to $80 million in October. In a more comical part of the transaction, Adele’s offer had a unique condition – she gets to keep the bronze statue of Rocky Balboa at the home, which Stallone agreed to.
Located in the lavish Beverly Park, the property is surrounded with residents such as Denzel Washington, Magic Johnson, Justin Beiber, and the late Sumner Redstone, who is next door to Stallone’s.
Throughout his time with the property, Stallone has evolved the property from the former mediterranean-style house into a modern house with a contemporary hue. Some things changed include the addition of steel-framed windows and doors, an art studio in the eight car garage, and the construction of a guest house done by Richard Landry.
For some personal enjoyment, Stallone added a movie theater, custom bar, gym, and cigar room equipped with a modern air-filtration system. There are also two Rocky Balboa statues that make appearances throughout the house. One in the memorabilia room, and the other by the pool.
The 21,000 square foot mansion in the hills includes no less than eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a two-story foyer, formal living room and dining area. There are also terraces and patios to overlook the beautiful outside amenities. Looking out from above, rolling lawns, a pool, a putting green, and a beautiful view of Beverly Hills can be seen.
Adele rose to fame with her debut album “19” released in 2008 and has grown to be known worldwide and one of the top selling artists of the 21st century. Adele has won many prestigious awards including 12 Brit Awards, 15 Grammy Awards, and an Oscar for Best Original Song for “Skyfall” in 2012. Her success continues to grow with the release of her fourth studio album “30”.
Stallone has been a staple in Hollywood since the 1970s. He has received two Oscar nominations and also played a major role in “First Blood”, “Cobra” and the successful “Expendables” franchise.
At 75 years old, Stallone has recently decided to purchase a property in Florida’s Palm Beach and move to the east coast for $35.38 million.
The listing for Sylvester Stallone’s Beverly Park mansion was held by Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, Tomer Fridman of Compass, and Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Realty. Rappaport also represented the buyer, alongside T. Montgomery of Keller Williams Hollywood Hills.
